Founder of Intentional Movement

For as long as I can remember, I felt like a part of me was missing—like I didn’t quite belong. I searched for myself in relationships, motherhood, career, and family. I journeyed across continents—from Mexico to Birma, India to Spain—seeking answers.
And then I found it. It was always here. Right in my center. In my body.
Movement became my medicine. My mirror. My map.
I studied with masters and teachers across the world, learning techniques that heal and unlock deeper dimensions of the self. From Butoh to Yoga to indigenous dance forms, I gathered wisdom and wove it into a system that could transform lives.
That system is Intentional Movement.
I’m Agata Babska,a movement specialist and founder of Intentional Movement. For over 20 years, I’ve traveled the globe exploring how movement transforms lives—physically, emotionally, and professionally.
I’ve helped young women in Mexico rebuild confidence, guided corporate teams toward collaboration and energy, and worked with leaders to bring wellness into their daily lives. I’ve seen movement spark breakthroughs, fuel creativity, and build resilience.
Now, I bring this work to organizations, conferences, families, and wellness spaces worldwide.
Because movement is not just motion—it’s momentum.

We Are All Seeking Healing
To heal, we must access our emotions—not suppress them. Our body is more than just muscle and bone; it is the home of our deepest feelings. And to process those emotions in a healthy way, we need movement.
One of my favorite writers, Ewa Foley, beautifully describes this idea:
„Human beings are constructed with four rooms—body, mind, emotions, and spirit. You have to enter each of these rooms every day to grow harmoniously.”
We are not just a body. Not just emotions. Not just a mind. Not just a spirit. We are the sum of all these parts, woven together by movement.
We live in a world more connected than ever—yet loneliness is rampant. Social media links us instantly, yet something essential is missing.
We must come together in person. To look into each other’s eyes. To hear each other’s voices, see the person before us—not just a filtered version of them on a screen. Trust is built through presence. Through movement. Through shared space.
I have worked with young women struggling with body image—trapped in cycles of dieting, comparison, mood swings, striving to look like models and influencers. But through intentional movement therapy, we created an environment where they began to feel safe.
Where they felt seen. Where they felt enough.
Because movement is healing—it teaches us to embrace ourselves fully, just as we are.

So I ask you—what is the first movement you will take today?

I have faced moments of deep challenge, moments that tested everything I thought I knew. And what has always carried me through is movement with intention—the ability to shift, to adapt, to transform.

As a movement specialist, this is what I know for certain:
Movement heals. Movement stimulates growth. Movement propels us forward, leading to clarity, strength, and motivation.
